AnglicareWA administers Emergency Relief(ER) at metropolitan and regional locations. Anglicare works collaboratively with local parishes and communities to provide ER. AnglicareWA ER Services provide short-term financial and/or material assistance to individuals and families in crisis. AnglicareWA also provides support , advocacy and referral to other services to assist people to alleviate their immediate financial crisis. ER assistance can be provided in the form of:- Food vouchers,non-perishable food and hampers at Christmas time;- Part-payment of one utility account per year; -Telstra accounts(landlines only); - medical/dental/optical accts.; rent/accommodation ;smart-riders/phonecards; - material assistance such as blankets and clothing, and; - Info and referral to other services such as debt negotiation and advocacy services. Hello
My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
