Volunteer Visiting Service is aimed at providing friendly support to the lonely, frail aged and disabled. The Volunteers help meet the social, recreational and conversational needs of those less advantaged in our community.Community Care Branch Service is all about bringing a little sunshine into peoples lives. By offering a friendly face and kind word can make a persons day. The value of this companionship is immeasurable, for both recipients and volunteers. Pensioners Social Club meets every 2nd Monday. Club meetings held 3rd Monday of month. Outings arranged for 2nd Monday of month. They also have craft sessions to knit for World Vision and Wheelchairs for overseas charities. The outings vary from movies to o/n stays at other towns to shopping expeditions at Ikea . Membership is $10pa.
