Community Resource Centre and Toy Lending Service
This service seeks to support and empower individuals and families in the community by ensuring they have access to the most appropriate services and resources to meet their needs. A support group for people caring for persons with a disability meets one Wednesday per month 10am - 12noon. Provides a toy and equipment lending service for children and people with special needs; distribution system for those who cannot visit library; membership $36.75 per year family membership, referred clients are not required to pay a membership fee. Library carries a stock of education equipment to help people improve and develop fine and gross motor skills, coordination, reading, writing, number skills, visual and auditory discrimination skills.
