Volunteer run transport service for taking clients to medical and specialist appointments, shopping, social recreational outings, bus trips etc. Fee charged but will not deny service if cannot pay. Aboriginal liason worker available. Provide 1 return trip taxi vouchers once a week to HACC clients at a cost of only $4.00 to the client. This is available to HACC clients in the Port, Camden Haven, Kempsey and Wauchope areas and these vouchers are only available for transport within the same town the person resides. These vouchers can only be used between 5pm and 8pm 7 days a week.

I’m currently in treatment at canarven street and I have been working for over a year now and it’s difficult to get to the chemist on time and to see anyone at canarven street because of my work hours, I have been put on daily pick ups until 30/11/2022 when I do a test. This was changed from weekly to daily because I came in and did a sample and it wasn’t registering a temperature or anything in my sample including methadone which is impossible so my worker assumed that I was trying it on somehow and put me on daily pick ups. It was definitely a faulty test and because I didn’t hang around to do another one, she thought the worst, I understand why but I’m working away soon and I will need a 3-4 day take out but can’t get hold of my worker no matter how many messages I leave she is always busy and never calls me back so what can I do??? I’m working away in Belfast this month
