Compeer Program
The Compeer Program realises how valuable friendship is to people who are trying to cope with a mental illness. They need the support of a friend. Compeer recruits, screens and matches trained volunteers in one to one friendship relationship with adults who are receiving mental health treatment. The Society plays a vital role in advocating for and on behalf of one of the most disadvantaged sections of our community, people living with a mental illness.
