Day Programs provide people with an intellectual disability the opportunity to enhance their independence, skills, community participation, and quality of life. Day programs provide a range of activities from education to leisure and recreational pursuits, and may be a 'package' of services designed to meet an individual's needs. Provide day programs for intellectually-disabled adults who live in the Alexandra area and are referred by Human Services. It is a client based service in an ideal rural environment. The Centre is currently in the planning phase for developing residential services for people with a disability and also provide In Home Support for clients who aim to live more independently.
