Dean Lodge is a high care facility comprising 28 rooms (some with en suite) accommodating 40 Residents This 40 bed facility consists of 16 single rooms and 12 shared. Services include Ageing in Place; Tube feeding, Rehabilitation services, Palliative care nursing, Diversional Therapist/Activities Officer, Physiotherapist, facility transport and bus nearby. Community Visiting Scheme available from Melville Cares and volunteers, Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistants, Assistant Physiotherapist and Social Worker available, Podiatrist visits once per week, Hairdresser visits 1 day per week. GP must agree to take on new clients.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
