Dementia Behaviour Assessment and Management Service (DBAMS) National Pilot Project
The objective of DBAMS is to assess the effectiveness of a model of outreach and immediate care for people with dementia and dementia-related difficult behavours, and to increase carer confidence and competence in managing behavioural issues. The DBAMS multi-disciplinary team consists of a Geriatrician, Visiting Psycho-geriatricians, Medical Officers, Psycho-geriatric nurses, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Physiotherapist and Diversional Therapist.
