NSW Government Child Protection agency which offers assistance, assessment and intervention to families where there are child protection concerns. The Department also case manages children and young people in care as well as supporting their carers. The Early Intervention Program provides targeted support to vulnerable children and families to prevent them from entering or escalating in the child protection system. This program is voluntary and targets families with children 0-8 years.
