Department of Human Services (DHS) Disability Services Division - North and West
The Disability Services Division provides the following services - - Disability Intake and Response Service - provides information and support for young people and adults with disabilities and for their carers and families to gain access to community supports and services in their local area. Programs funded by DHS include Community and Home Based Support, Shared Supported Accommodation, Community Participation, Primary Support, Planning and Coordination, Specialist Services, Information and Advocacy Services, Quality and Accreditation, Training Development and Innovation, Strengthening Communities, Flexible Support Packages and Intake Assessment. - Community Residential Services/Residential Respite Care - provides facility based planned and emergency respite accommodation for children, young people and adults with autism or intellectual, psychiatric, neurological or physical disabilities - 5 beds and one emergency bed are available.

HACC funded planned activity group 6 days per week. Flexible respite for employed carers and 4 beds for short term overnight respite. Self, service provide ror ACAS referral required.
