Dept of Family and Community Services - Special Needs Subsidy Scheme (SNSS)

The Special Needs Subsidy Scheme (SNSS) helps Commonwealth funded child care services care for children with ongoing high support needs, particularly children with a disability. The Scheme enables these children, who may previously have been unable to use child care services, to participate equally in child care programs by providing additional funding to support them. This service compliments the SUPS Program (Supplementary Services Program). Children with ongoing high support needs may include: children with diagnosed disabilities; children undergoing continuing assessment for disabilities or developmental delay and refugee children who have been subjected to torture or trauma. The type of support offered depends on the needs of the child, their family and the child care service.

Hi,
I hope everyone is doing well. I was just wondering what the process is for applying for emergency food vouchers?
I am currently in between jobs, and my savings and centrelink are allocated to rent and medical expenses.
As of June, I'll be starting my new job but until then, I'm not sure how easy it will be to afford groceries.
Thanks for any advice,
Emma

On the 18th of January I have to go to Launceston because I will have surgery on the next day.
I would be happy if someone could give me a ride.
