Direct Respite Services
DRS provides respite for Carers of people who are seriously ill, are aged and need assistance or who have disabilities. We do so by providing a trained person to come to your home and under your instruction, they will care for the person you usually care for, whist you are out and having a break. These breaks can be regular and at a time that meets your needs. You may prefer to have the respite service provided elsewhere for example Cottage Respite.

Podiatry Clinics $12; Physiotherapists $10 per visit. OT $7.

Targeting frail aged, young disabled (Mon), and carers. Day Respite $12 weekdays, $15.00 for outings lunch inc. e.g. Hervey Bay Boat Club. Young disabled day is Mondays. Please note: Medications must be in webster packs. NRCP funded. In-Home Respite and Social Support - $3.00 per hour contribution.

Hi I need some help for basic needs as I have nothing until I start and paid with new part time job - which I presume will be within 2-4 weeks. My housemates are helping with rent but that is all help that I've got. I've also lost contact for help from families and friends. My evidence documents were not enough to receive support from Vinnies and other organisation.
