Esperance Community Health Centre
Esperance Community Health provides services from Esperance to Norseman. Visiting services are provided to all schools in the region and additional visiting services are provide to the larger towns. Telehealth is also utilised to provide services to communities. Most of the Community Health staff are located at the Community Health Centre in Forrest Street, opposite Woolworths. Some services are located at Esperance District Hospital and other locations. Nursing Services , including :- Child Health, including Home Visiting (newborns) ; Women's Health with outreach to Norseman monthly. Immunisation.Rheumatology. Enuresis. Continence. Diabetes education. Aboriginal Health Services(An Aboriginal Health Worker is employed part time and provides services to Aboriginal people ). Allied Health Services:- Audiology; Speech Pathology; Dietetics: Occuaptional Therapy ; Physiotherapy ; Social Work . All by appointment only. Health Promotion Services

The Jurien Bay Health Centre is a multi purpose centre providing health services to Jurien Bay and surrounding areas . These include :- Accident and Emergency (24 hours) Allied Health Services Audiology Child Health General Medical Services Health Promotion and Education Home and Community Care (HACC) Immunisation Health Promotion and Education Visiting Practitioner There also rooms for GPs who also attend emergencies. The HACC service provides Allied Health Care(Centre) ; Assessment ; Case management ;Centre Based Day Care ; Client Care Coordination ; Domestic Assistance ; Home Maintenance; Home Modification ; Meals(home) ; Nursing Care(home) ; Personal Care ;Respite Care(in home) ; Social support and Transport. Day Centre available Tues only. The Cervantes Nursing Post is currently being remodelled from Health Centre to be a respite house for o/n respite.This will be part of the HACC service (NRCP-funded maybe) run by Jessica Turbett.

Population Health staff includes: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetcs & Nutrition, Social Work, Aboriginal Health, Community Nursing, Podiatry, Health Promotions, Audiology and Clerical and customer services. The Population Health division aims to protect , promote and restore people's health. The role of the Wheatbelt Population Health is broad and covers all core functions of contemporary public health practice in Australia. Basically the structure of Population Health is that they manage the health service , public health do the plannimg and policy development and the primary health service delivers the service. The Director of Population Health is located at the Wheatbelt Public Health Unit in Northam. The current acting Director is Sean Conlan.

Hi I need some help for basic needs as I have nothing until I start and paid with new part time job - which I presume will be within 2-4 weeks. My housemates are helping with rent but that is all help that I've got. I've also lost contact for help from families and friends. My evidence documents were not enough to receive support from Vinnies and other organisation.
