Fremanshed Inc is a community men's shed aimed at-. - Providing a space to facilitate men of all ages participating in projects that can benefit both themselves and the community. - Linking men in the community to services and support structures to enhance their health and wellbeing. Restored to now being a functional workshop, we have already been involved in a number of community initiatives including Youth Projects, Back on Track Men's Programmes, repairs to community furniture, First Click Computer courses, helping with community events as well as offering a workshop for men in the region to access. Website www.fremanshed.org Fremantle Men's Community Shed offers Woodworking, computer skills.Currently planning a metalwork area.Open Saturdays and every second Wednesday. Apart from member access, we have partnered community groups to run courses-Youth at Risk, Men's "Back on Track"(woodwork and mentoring), First Click for Seniors (Computer literacy Course).

I recently had a 5 day holiday for a family get together, and I had a friend from Sydney stay in my unit to look after my cat as I could not take here with us. Sadly, one of our neighbor's put a note on her car window, that she was not allowed to park the car there, and that she had been reported to Department of Housing. the spot she parked in is a spare spot, and not parking has been officially allocated to tenants. I spoke to dept of housing about this, and was told it was quite ok for me to have a visitor stay, and for them to use that car space and that they would notify all the tenants of this. But to date nothing has happened, and I have another trip away coming up soon, and really don't want this to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated.
