Friday Club (Over 55s Social Club Rockingham)
This is an over 55 s club that uses the Police and Community Youth Centre as a venue for their social event each Friday. The coordinator is Ron Ridley and the club is run by its members.There is an annual fee of $4pa and an entrance fee of $2.The various activities offerred by the club are social bingo, raffles, carpet bowls and darts.There is a kitchen and a light lunch is available to its members.There is also four free dinners throughout the year for the members.

I have been thinking of the value of community and would love to reach out to the older generation who may be missing their family or not have any. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to take some time to visit or meet with a group of friendly people . I think it might bring some joy to some and my children will have the benefit of getting to know a different generation.
