Greater Southern Population Health
Population Health is a team within the Greater Southern Area Health Service which is part of the NSW Dept of Health. Population Health has a role in a range of disease prevention, health protection and health promotion activities. These include communicable disease control, environmental health, coordinating immunisation and sexual health services and leading programs aimed at preventing chronic disease such as tobacco control, falls prevention, and obesity prevention. The team generally coordinates programs, provides advice and information to health professionals, other agencies and the public.

Hello, I am a mum of two small children aged 1 and 3. I have been thinking of the value of community and would love to reach out to the older generation who may be missing their family or not have any. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to take some time to visit or meet with a group of friendly people . I think it might bring some joy to some and my children will have the benefit of getting to know a different generation.
