KSC provides centre based support for young people with a profound intellectual disability and physical disability. KSC aims to assist the service user to access the local community and be provided with experiences which enhance involvement in their daily lives. Individual Plans are completed for all participants. Programs are offered for any need identified, however areas of expertise include: communication system assessment and development, use of assistive technology, leisure and recreation, community access, living skills. Programs are conducted either in the community or at the Centre. Service users are offered a minimum of 3-4 days placement per week.
