Home Care Service of NSW - Broken Hill Neighbour Aid
The aim of this program is to provide support, social contact, and activities for the aged and people with disabilities, thus avoiding isolation for these people while at the same time provide respite for their carers. Volunteers provide regular visits at a time that is suitable to the client and the volunteer. Visits can include: assistance with shopping, banking, bills; transport to appointments; companionship and social support; etc. Fees- $2/hour.
