A 40 bed facility 2 double rooms with ensuite, 34 single room with ensuite, for people assessed by an ACAT as requiring low level care. Services include Respite x 2 beds, Ethno-specific with mainly Italian and some German. Dutch, Portuguese; Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and an Activities Coordinator who organises activities for residents such as outings, concerts, bingo and bowls. The Community Visiting Scheme is available to residents and the Village utilises Red Cross and St John ambulance volunteer services. A Hairdresser visits once per week. Pets are allowed to visit the premises and a public bus stop is nearby. Dryandra Hostel is a low care 26 bed accredited facility, with ageing in place, providing permanent and respite accommodation and care to frail and aged residents. A local GP visits every week ; There is nursing support through the hospital and residents have regular visits to the podiatrist at the hospital ; Therapy assessments are done by a visiting OT; Local churches hold regular services ; Hairdresser visits weekly ; and there is volunteer support from community members . Aged Care Assessment Team (Northam) Referrals from a Medical Practitioner and the Aged Care Assessment Team are required for entry to Dryandra. 20-11-2020. I haven’t been working, I’m receiving Centrelink job seeker. I got kicked out from the family house that I was paying mortgage for. Ive been homeless and leaving in a motel, I did approach Housing Department and thank god and thanks to them that they have offered me a 1 bedroom until which im hoping to move into it next week. Sadly I can’t afford to buy some of the furniture for the unit , jI’m wondering if your company would be able to help me out ?
