Jilliby Respite Service - Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care

DADHC's Respite Services provides planned respite at two venues on the Central Coast. An assessment will be done over the phone by the Intake Officer at the Department's Gosford office and the assessment is then allocated to an eligibility committee who will review the case. The length of time they stay depends on the families needs. Respite can be during the week, weekends or holidays.

I have been a bit lost for 8 months. My family broke apart after my wife attacked me with scissors and destroyed all my belongings and cut up all my clothes. my wife then took my kids away (who were in my care) and threatened to take them to China. Blocked all contact I've not known where they were till last month and I've been left couch surfing and living off the good graces of a few friends.

Hello
My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
