Junction Mental Health Rehabilitation Service -Nowra

This service provides group and individual programs for rehabilitation of people with a mental illness. Provides training in living skills. Other Activities include: Social outings, creative arts, and education. Clinical Therapy program. Links to support groups - Schizophrenia Fellowship and ARAFMI (Association of Relatives and Friends of the Mentally Ill). The latter group supports the needs of the family especially in terms of education. There is no cost for day rehabilitation programs. Lunch can be provided $2.50 - $3.00 (available 5 days only). Helping Hands volunteer program - links volunteers to clients in the community - to improve living and social skills.

I’m currently in treatment at canarven street and I have been working for over a year now and it’s difficult to get to the chemist on time and to see anyone at canarven street because of my work hours, I have been put on daily pick ups until 30/11/2022 when I do a test. This was changed from weekly to daily because I came in and did a sample and it wasn’t registering a temperature or anything in my sample including methadone which is impossible so my worker assumed that I was trying it on somehow and put me on daily pick ups. It was definitely a faulty test and because I didn’t hang around to do another one, she thought the worst, I understand why but I’m working away soon and I will need a 3-4 day take out but can’t get hold of my worker no matter how many messages I leave she is always busy and never calls me back so what can I do??? I’m working away in Belfast this month
