Newly built Multi Service Outlet - Public Hospital, Services available include; Eight inpatient beds including one Palliative Care Bed, 24/7 Emergency Dept, Xray, Physiotherapy, Pathology Service, Occupational Therapy, Dental Clinic, Community Health and Methadone Clinic. Aged Care Facility includes; 20 High Care Beds, 1 Respite Bed, 2 High Care Dementia Beds, 4 Low Care Dementia Beds and 4 Transitional Care Beds. Hospital has four Transitional Care Beds for people requiring recouperation before returning home after a hospital stay. Child Dental clinic for up to 14yrs.Clinic is attended on Thursdays and is linked to Wagga Based Dental Clinic which cater for adult concession/pensioner card holders at Wagga. (Adult service usually has long wait list) Wagga based dental clinic can be contacted on 02 6938 6461

I have been thinking of the value of community and would love to reach out to the older generation who may be missing their family or not have any. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to take some time to visit or meet with a group of friendly people . I think it might bring some joy to some and my children will have the benefit of getting to know a different generation.
