Keeping Families Connected
Keeping Families Connected fosters relationships within families where a family member is suffering from mental illness, and a drug and alcohol problem. Education Keeping Families Connected (KFC) is a 5-week programme which: Supports and educates families to understand the family member from a new perspective. Offers education and training in the areas of mental health and drug and alcohol use, which include managing the mental health system. Works with families to find a balance between self care and responsibility. Offers a safe space with other carers in a similar situation.
