Kincare - Community Aged Care Packages

Community Aged Care Packages are planned and coordinated services to help older people remain at home, rather than going into hostel care. Typical services include work around the house, personal care, meal preparation, transport, socialisation, lawn mowing, garden maintenance, bill paying, shopping, medicine monitoring and organisation of social activities. Note that for recipients of the pension, the maximum that may be charged for a CACP is 17.5% of the basic pension rate. CALD groups provide services and appropriate workers wherever possible.

Is there any support for those suffering isolation? If I die in my bed tonight, my body won't be discovered for months. Sorry to bother you all. Even just one phone call per week, for 1 minute, just to check I am still alive and well. Owen (Belmore NSW).
