The department has expertise in the field of women's mental health. They assess treat and help manage patients of King Edward Hospital whose medical condition is affecting their emotional health. A duty clinician is available during office hours to discuss outpatient referrals, respond to community inquiries and provide a liaison service in the area of women's mental health to other professionals and community groups.

This is a public hospital covering the Lower and Central GS region. GPs in the Albany area are rostered for on call and emergency work. The WA Palliative Care Network, ACAT, HACC(MOW only) and MHS are also on this site. Dr Russell Harkman(MHS) has the psychosis program within the hospital in G- Ward. Services at this hospital are:- Emergency . Home and Community Care . Intensive Care . Maternity . Medical, General . Mental Health . Nursing Home . Occupational Therapy . Pathology . Pharmacy . Physiotherapy . Radiology . Social Work . Speech Therapy . Day Surgery. If non emergency transport to hospital is required, refer to Red Cross(9842 9095).Red Cross also provides hire of equipment e.g. shower chairs, wheel chair etc. Equipment hire has a small holding fee which is refunded once product is returned. I had a very tough year the last few months I had to watch my mother slowly die from breast cancer, been struggling since mums passing before I turned 50. My family doesn't talk to me after mother passed been a lot of other things on my mind in regards to my immediate family. I feel so lost and lonely don't see anything to live for even though I've got 4 grown kids and 4 grandchildren still I can't feel anything any more for anyone. I need help please

My name is Robert, I’ve experienced family domestic violent. Sadly I have a big injury in my back disk due to been assaulted and bashed by 6 x Police officers on the
20-11-2020. I haven’t been working, I’m receiving Centrelink job seeker. I got kicked out from the family house that I was paying mortgage for. Ive been homeless and leaving in a motel, I did approach Housing Department and thank god and thanks to them that they have offered me a 1 bedroom until which im hoping to move into it next week. Sadly I can’t afford to buy some of the furniture for the unit , jI’m wondering if your company would be able to help me out ?
