Libby Hanlon - Primary Health Care Nurse

The role of the Primary Health Care Nurse is to provide a day a week of service to the towns listed. She supports the visiting GP by working as Practice Nurse doing immunisation, dressing and pathology in the clinic or by doing home visits and Health Assessment for the GP in the communities. Health Promotion Activities are reguarly run in each community. Community Capacity Building to find strategies for improved health and wellbeing. This may involve submission writing for funding.
