Like Mental Health’s accredited social work practitioner can assist people with a broad range of life challenges. We create a safe and significant space for children, young people, adults, couples and families to achieve their wellness goals. With eighteen years’ experience in mental health and addiction recovery the life challenges helped at Like mental health are depression, anxiety psychological disorders, trauma recovery, grief and loss, life skills and assertiveness skills development and relationship counselling. As an accredited mental health social worker we make use of focused psychological and evidence base strategies that extends to the use of sand play and symbols as therapeutic supports during the counselling process. There are two locations, one at Ipswich and another at Indooproopilly conveniently located near bus & train services. CERTIFICATIONS Member of Australian Association of Social Workers Accredited Medicare Provider Qualifications: BSocSc, Grad Dip Theo, Grad Cert EMC [sandplay & symbol work with children], Masters of Social Worker.
