To support people with a disability, their families and /or carers, in a manner which maximises personal wellbeing and increases opportunity for community inclusion. LGSCLA currently supports in excess of 50 clients, ranging in age from 4 to 70 years, including people with high and multiple support needs; people with sensory, intellectual and cognitive disabilities; people with Autism, and people with physical disabilities including Acquired Brain Injury. Supports are provided on an individually negotiated basis that fall within the agency's guidelines of service, including: Co-resident support Daytime and/or overnight support, in or out of home Assistance to go out into the local area and/or participate in community activities Arranging short stays in holiday accommodation or a support worker's home Assisting with continuing education Assisting with practical tasks and skill development

Activ's services are as a HACC provider( also in MSW) ; has Sitter Services(9528 4711), does recreational activities, provides family support, has many respite facilities throughout metro area (Lockett St 9371 1222 ; other respite 99371 1222) and has day care centres in Variety Pelican in Bayswater and Cruise St, Rockingham and provides employment alternatives for their clients. Also provides transport (9387 0549) and library and info services. The HACC services provided are :-centre-based day care, respite care in and out of home ,especially in dedicated respite houses, and social support.

In a TC there is focus on social, psychological and behavioural dimensions of substance use, with the use of the community to heal individuals emotionally and support the development of behaviours, attitudes and values of healthy living.
