The HACC care workers assist with personal care, deliver meals on wheels, shopping, banking, housework and gardening. The co-location with the hostel has led to a number of initiatives such as a cook employed part-time to prepare all meals for clients with consideration for dietary needs and cultural backgrounds. Day centre activities and outings are enjoyed by both HACC clients and hostel residents.
