Mental Health Services Helpline is a multidisciplinary, community based service which provides the Mental Health Services (MHS) intake, and crisis response. It seeks to ensure that people experiencing a mental health crisis within Tasmania's Southern Region receive the least restrictive and most appropriate form of mental health assessment and treatment services.

People 18yrs and over who have mental health problems or risk of developing same, caring for someone with a mental illness. No fees. Mental Health services do not generally accept referrals for those presenting with problems, that are primarily resulting from relationaships issues, financial issues, legal or compensation claims, drug/alcholol problems, intellectual disabilities and anger management.
