McAuley House Seniors Centre is a homelike safe environment for Seniors & young people with disabilities living in the Wembley and surrounding areas. The aim is to provide respite to a primary carer and relieve social isolation and enhance quality of life for those clients living in the community. The centre has specific days for people with a disability and people with dementia.

Services are offered in the 12 shires of the South West region to carers of the frail aged, the disabled and those with dementia and associated challenging behaviours. Also to carers of the terminally ill. Services will not be denied if carers cannot afford them.

Amana Living - Lefroy Day Care Centre

The Centre is available to elderly ambulant people who have been diagnosed as suffering from Alzheimers or dementia and who live in the community. The centre is open 7 days a week and four evenings. It aims to give respite to carers of people suffering from an altered mental state and to enable carers to maintain their relative at home as long as possible. Also provides a social program in a non-threatening atmosphere. Margaret Logan and Bev Smith are the HACC Coordinators of this is a respite service. Sat - Sun 8-9pm limited transport available Fees struct approx $4 per serve $7 per meal.
