Midway covers the Peel region providing opportunities and support disabled people to pursue options that enhance their skills, self-esteem, community integration and independence from Inclusion and participation in socially and culturally appropriate community settings and activities.; Living and creative skills development; Recreation; Centre based activities; Special projects; Work experience opportunities; Transportation; Midway Community Care provides 3 group home for Adults with Disabilities . This is a private organisation and is is funded in part by DSC. Must be intellectually disabled to be eligible for services. There is a respite house is Bridgewater, Erskine with 2 fully funded beds and one unfunded bed.The centre-based day care is an alternative to employment centre. Midway can assist individuals receiving Disability Services Commission's Intensive Family Support Funding (IFS) by the provision of support services that they require.

Hello ,
I'm in a really bad situation atm . I recently had to move because my dad who I was caring for 10 years had to go into aged care .
I had nowhere to go with my dog and luckily someone I barely know let me rent a room off him in Powelltown, Vic .
I don't drive and it's an 18km walk just to get to a bus stop that is still Ages away from most things .
My centerlink has been cut off because I couldnt attend a job provider appointment due to it being so far and I haven't had any food for 5 days now.
There is a local food relief place that gives Me a few fresh vegetables every Friday but they didn't come today and it's only a few fruit and veg which is not very nourishing on an empty stomach . They only come on Fridays when they can .

Can I please ask how I can access an application for accommodation in your over 55 units please. I have recently moved back to WA from working in NT. I used to stay at my mum's place but my nephew has moved in so I have no housing. I am 61 not currently working may be able to get some p/t work.
