Multicultural Health Unit - Health Care Interpreter Service
The Migrant Health Unit assists Hunter Area Health services to ensure that people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds receive appropriate health care information about their health so that they can make informed decisions. The Migrant Health Unit provides an interpreter service, Multicultural health liaison Officer Program, education and advice to Hunter Health staff on Multicultural health issues. Free to all Hunter Health Clients. Interpreters 24hrs/7 days per week. (Support to Seven Northern NSW Regional Health Services). By agreement withother agencies.
