Neurocare- Great Southern
RN employed by the Neurological Council of WA (Inc) as the Neurological Nurse Specialist for the Great Southern Region. Give specific nursing advice, care and support to people with a Neurological condition. This care/support includes compliance with a treatment regime prescribed by their GP, Neurologist and other Health Professionals. A nursing assessment is done on the person with the neurological problem, and then am able to manage their care and refer if needed. Provide any counseling as required within the scope of nursing and advocacy as required. Provide education to the community about the various disorders and how they affect an individual. Need to be HACC eligible. The services available are :- Assessment ; CSIA and Nursing Care(in home).
