General Advocacy

Provides a statewide free phone legal advice and referral service for women who are effected by Domestic Violence and service providers working with these women and their families. Provides consultation on legal matters for community workers, community legal education for service providers, Apprehended Violence Orders (AVO) applications, systemic advocacy and reform. The program is based upon the Women's Domestic Violence Court Assistance Program Training and Resource Unit, Outreach is available in rural areas.
