Lyndarra is a psychoeducational unit situated 19 kms from Dubbo. It provides a peaceful environment for clients to gain some time-out to look at specific issues and find new coping skills and a different perspective on their problems. Referrals may be made by your doctor, counsellor or you can contact Lyndarra directly on (02) 6887 3236. A residential facility is available. There is a 5 week course Monday - Friday. Lyndarra is suitable for people with depression, recent loss of coping skills, stress, anxiety, difficulty with relationships, difficulties within the workplace, grief issues, and post traumatic stress symptoms. Lyndarra is unsuitable for people with severe or acute mental illness, history of aggression, current drug or alcohol abuse, inability to interact with others, and developmental disability.

Kaiyu Konnect is a community mental health service for adults living with or recovering from mental illness. Kaiyu provides an environemnt where you can be supported in achieving your goals in life with a focus on recovery and community inclusion. At a glance Kaiyu Konnect provides group programs, referrals to other agencies and skills to access service providers, skill development programs, outreach, social and recreational activities and link people within their chosen community. We also provide affordable and nutritious lunches on Tuesday and Thursday. The Kaiyu Konnect Eearly Intervention Youth Program (KKEIP Well) provides therapeutic groups and community activities for people aged 18-25 years with a mental illness.
