Occupational Therapy Driver Assessment and Training (CRAGS)
Provides an assessment service to determine whether a person possesses the skills of a competent driver. The assessment process has 3 stages (1) off road (physical, cognitive and visual status) (2) on road (on road driving skills) (3) Feedback (the results from the above tasks are then discussed with the person). Based upon recommendations from the assessment process, a report is then sent to the RTA. There is an assessment fee $300.00 (not a subsidised service & there is no Medicare rebate) plus ongoing driver's lessons fees at $57.50. Service can be used by people of all ages.
