This office develops policy to raise awareness of the health and social benefits of physical activity; encourage safe participation in physical activity and facilitate the provision of a wider range of opportunities to encourage more Queenslanders to take regular, moderate, physical activity throughout the various stages of their lives.

Government funded community agency founded in 1996 to assist persons with disabilities, to access activities of their choice in a way that promotes friendships, skill development, participation and independence. Community access is a service which enables people with disabilities to access educational facilities, participate in recreation and leisure activities of their choice, otherwise unavailable to them.
