Parks Community Network works with local residents to help identify & act on local needs & issues. The Parks Outreach Team work with people of all ages providing information on services and activities within the area, developing activities, programs and excursions for all ages, organise & support groups and lobbying/advocacy programs. Parks provides activities for all ages including exercise & relaxation, tai chi, yoga, gym classes, aqua aerobics, belly dancing, walking group, Kids Klub Mon 3.30pm - 5pm, for young people 12yrs & over they provide drop in & school holiday activities, choir Tues 3pm - 6pm, homework help with Maths and English and Centrelink Outreach Thurs 3.30pm - 6pm. Social & educational groups are run by volunteer leaders and supported by Parks, groups are Spanish, Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Assyrian, Arabic, Multicultural, craft groups & occassionally computer, art and photography classes. Also provide Links to Learning program.
