Partners in Culturally Appropriate Aged Care Officer
ThIs project is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing and managed by ACT Health, Aged Care and Rehabilitation Services. The program aims to assist the residential aged care industry and other aged care service providers engage with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds to provide culturally appropriate aged care. This officer works with residential aged care facilities to assist in the development of strategies for the delivery of culturally appropriate aged care. As well the Officer informs ethnic communities about aged care services and provides assistance in accessing such services.
