Port Kembla Hospital - Chronic Pain Management Program
People must be referred by GP, medical specialist or other health professional. Program runs twice weekly for approx 8 weeks. Group size max of 25. Chronic pain due to cancer and rheumatoid arthritis is not covered in this program. Family and friends encouraged to attend specific sessions. Program also runs at Shoalhaven Hospital, Nowra. No fee unless compensable then insurance company is charged. Assessment may take 2- 3months.
