Queensland Ambulance Patient Transport Service
Clients need to be non-ambulant and require active medical observation during transport. Not eligible if they can travel with family, friends or taxi. Transport needs to be booked at least one day minimum in advance, preferably as soon as the medical appointment is made. Written authorisation given by Doctor on 'Medical Authorised Ambulance Transport' form is required. Can also transport from hospital to home. Arrange this with the Hospital.
