The Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group offer support and practical assistance for families of murder or manslaughter victims. The Group offers emergency and respite accommodation, 24 hour telephone support and monthly support group meetings. Emergency and respite accommodation is for families from interstate attending coronors court. Support group which can offer friendship, information and assistance re: compensation, funeral expenses etc. as well as respite accommodation for people attending court hearings.

Hello, I am a mum of two small children aged 1 and 3. I have been thinking of the value of community and would love to reach out to the older generation who may be missing their family or not have any. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to take some time to visit or meet with a group of friendly people . I think it might bring some joy to some and my children will have the benefit of getting to know a different generation.
