Respite House (GIFSA Kalgoorlie)
GIFSAs Respite House in Varden Street Kalgoorlie is a 4x2 house with X1 Q/S bed , 3XS/S beds and a sofa bed - able to sleep seven people. The staff quarters sleeps 2 people. There is wheelchair access to bathrooms and toilets. Equipment available at this house is - a hospital bed with pressure care mattress ; adult change table ; hoist ; shower chair and wheelchair. All bookings and payments to be made through the Kalgoorlie office of GIFSA at Lotteries House , 42 Wilson Street during office hours. Application/Reservation form must be returned to GIFSA before staying at the Respite House. Charges are $40/person/day or an hourly fee of $5p/h/person with aminimum of 2 hours and capped at $40. $150 pw/person for a maximum of 7 days. Keys to the house can be obtained from the GIFSA office. All food , linen and other services are the responsibility of the occupant.
