Retina Australia is a voluntary peer support organisation of State and Territory groups concerned with retinal degenerative diseases. The objective is to provide information and the opportunity of support to persons and families affected by retinitis pigmentosa and other retinal dystrophies and to raise funds to finance scientific research into the causes, prevention and cure of retinitis pigmentosa and other retinal dystrophies.

Service tapes for vision impaired people. Support for Blind & VIP Friendship club. Management committee meets 3rd Wednesday each month 4.45pm. Family centre building Bundaberg Showgrounds. Volunteers need to read articles from each days Newsmail to the vision impaired. Objective to provide local and regional news to the print handicapped; Annual subscription of $2.00 gives voting priviledges.
