Riding for the disabled is a world wide movement which provides horse riding for people with disabilities, with over 140 groups operating throughout the states and territories of Australia, giving people of all ages the opportunity to enjoy a safe environment. People with intellectual disabilities, injuries resulting from accidents, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular distrophy, multiple sclerosis, thalidomide, blindness, deafness, autism, specific learining difficulties and amputees - all welcome.
