Rockingham Respite Cottage
The Rockingham Respite Cottage is close to the Rockingham foreshore and provides centre based respite care to people who are aged, have a disability or life limiting illness. The support SC provides enables carers to take a short term break. The cottage operates as a Day Centre with before and after hours care and overnight accommodation. Home cooked meals are served in a warm and friendly environment. Activities such as art and craft, music, games, puzzles and outings are all offered at the cottage. Transport to and from the cottage can also be arranged. This is a fully-funded centre under NRCP There are 3 respite beds and residents usually stay up to to 14 days.There is a shared bathroom and a chef cooks meals each day at the centre .

A Home and Community Care programme for the physically disabled and frail aged, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds . Runs a programme for Italian clients on Wed. Also now running Leschenault Day Respite Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. (See added location) Transport available. Youth programme for 16yrs to 25 yr old's with disabilities, (low level support needs), 1st and 3rd Saturday and 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, based at South West Hwy. Men's group 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, includes outings and centre based activities. 6 week Wellness programmes run on Wednesdays, full day programme including guest speakers and morning tea.
