Stomal Therapy Nurses are available to see all inpatients and outpatients in public and private hospitals before and after surgery. Outpatients are seen in the Stomal Therapy Departments Office or in Specialist Clinics with their Consultant, patients can phone for an appointment.

Emergency In-Home Support (EIHS)

EIHS provides HACC clients and primary carers with extra assistance in their own home by fully trained workers in times of emergency. An emergency is defined as being: . when a carer becomes ill and goes into hospital unexpectedly; . if a carer or other family member dies . when a carer requests assistance due to stress . when a frail elderly person or person with disabilities becomes ill and needs extra support to stay at home. . personal care, meal preparation, respite and nursing care are provided as required. . EIHS is short term support of up to 66 hours of care over 1 week. It is provided in addition to other support already being used. . workers are supervised and directed by professional staff. . people may choose either a male or female worker.

I am and have been struggling financially for quite some time now and don't like asking for help, with minimum help from centrelink due to the kids ages and not being classed as a single mum and only one shift a week at work my situation has become worse and am not breaking even to pay rent and my other bills.
