RSL Welfare and Pensions - Returned and Services League Wagga Sub Branch

The aim of this Body is to assist members of the Veteran Community to seek benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs and provide information in relation to Pensions and Welfare matters including Hospital/Home visits. BBQs get togethers take place monthly at the sub Branch house. Currently, the sub-branch is looking for volunteers to help with activities such as selling badges and poppies on ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. I recently had a 5 day holiday for a family get together, and I had a friend from Sydney stay in my unit to look after my cat as I could not take here with us. Sadly, one of our neighbor's put a note on her car window, that she was not allowed to park the car there, and that she had been reported to Department of Housing. the spot she parked in is a spare spot, and not parking has been officially allocated to tenants. I spoke to dept of housing about this, and was told it was quite ok for me to have a visitor stay, and for them to use that car space and that they would notify all the tenants of this. But to date nothing has happened, and I have another trip away coming up soon, and really don't want this to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated.
