Saturday Fun Club
Saturday Fun Club is a project which provides out of home respite care for school aged children who have a severe to profound disability. The children are encouraged to actively participate in activities such as games, craft, cooking, music and outdoor play. The project aims to give the parents of children with a disability a break from their continuous caring role. It also gives children who have a disability an opportunity to participate in social and recreational activities. The child benefits by way of social interaction and involvement in fun activities. The parents benefit by utilising the time whether as time out for themselves, or by spending it with other family members or other obligations they may have. Program administered by Lower Hunter Temporary Care. Covers LGAs Cessnock, Maitland and Port Stephens.

On the 18th of January I have to go to Launceston because I will have surgery on the next day.
I would be happy if someone could give me a ride.
